The Studios

Located In Milwaukee, WI's Fifth Ward, VarStudios is host to 72 artists in residence working across disciplines from drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, film, video, photography, illustration, poetry, spoken word, and mixed-media.  The studios range in size and style. There are private studios and open concept spaces to accommodate the wide variety of practices. Artists also have access to a full wood shop and kilns that may be used 24/7.  Our goal is to be an affordable resource for both emerging and established artists, as well as provide a platform to share artwork and exchange ideas within the collective and Milwaukee's arts community.
